Is this something we should allow them to repeat?

They are part of a system based on patriarchy
where power goes corrupt with no accountability
Who will be next to get beat, will it be you or me

Most people don't even know about Miami in 2003
when millions of dollars, supposed to go to Iraq, were spent militarizing the streets
against people fighting a deal that would strengthen corporate tyranny
Cops beat anyone who dared speak out and the media made sure we wouldn't see
All to allow the talks set to further corporate greed.
Funding from corporate greed and weed'n'seed give police everything they need
to wage a war on people mostly living in poverty
And from suburbia or from the ranch it's easy not to see
pigs aren't making life any safe for you and me
No, they're just protecting private property.
